Ruckerhill working dogs stand only to JRTCA registered bitches that have been DNA tested normal for PLL, have a bilateral normal BAER test, and are CERF normal. A Negative Brucellosis test must be provided within 30 days of the planned breeding date. We at Ruckerhill will stand our dogs to a few select bitches that we view as improving lines and qualities of the Jack Russell Terrier. Junior is an incredible and personable dog. As a puppy he placed well in the conformation ring. He and our family, together learned all about the go-to-ground and racing events. He has an extraordinary kind temperament and is great with children and puppies, gets along with all the dogs on the ground, and sleeps on my son’s bed every night. He has a unique sense of active prey settes, once determined to enter a sette he will stay at it for hours and always finds active prey. Junior has twice entered on Skunk and has the keen sense to not aggravate, and to back out to a hold position so we can dig him out, and safely remove him without agitating the skunk. Junior has taken on the role of teacher and lurcher for the younger dogs he works with in the field and verifies settes if the young dogs seem confused.
